Sight Seeing


Each week of your stay with us will involve daytrips to local sights, and events. Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and you will have the opportunity to visit many of its sites.

Please click on the links below to see what is part of your trip experience. Remember as part our your stay with us, all entrance fees to events are covered in your payment.

 

  • Grouse Mountain:

    • 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver

    • Begin by boarding the Skyride, North America's largest aerial Tramway system, for a 8 minute ride, approx. 3700 feet above sea level.

    • Can go on nature walks along the marked trails, or hiking trails for challenging vertical ascents.

    • Has casual and fine dining restaurants.

    • Can shop in the Outfitters and Spirit Gallery Gift Shops.

    • Winter months, and go skiing.

  • Stanley Park:

    • One thousand acre park.

    • Walk or rent bicycles to go around the park along the sea wall.

    • Have a picnic or barbecue, or swim in an outdoor pool.

    • Visit the Vancouver Aquarium.

    • See the Totem Poles

  • Cultus Lake Waterslides:

    • Waterpark with 7 giant slides, including a 72 foot free
      fall slide with whirlpool and hottubs, a Watermania section for children.

    • Has a full restaurant, an Espresso Hut and Snack Shack.

    • Picnic tables to eat at or lawn chairs to lounge on.

    • You can play beach volleyball, or video games in the arcade, or play a one on one game on Chess tables.

  • Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa:

    • Is a refreshing world of outdoor tranquility, as surrounded by the woodlands of Southwestern British Columbia.

    • There is 8,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor natural mineral hot spring pools, to soak in or swim in the lap pool.

    • The springs are known for their healing properties. Also services available to get pamper oneself with spa treatments.

    • Facilities include tennis, golf, or take a stroll on the beach.

    • Rent beach water vehicles: boats, kayaks, canoes, a
      paddleboat, tow toy, a watercraft, bumper boat.

    • Is right in the middle of golf country, within minutes of three golf courses.

    • Eat breakfast, lunch, dinner in The Cooper Room, featuring Fraser Valley cuisine and live entertainment, or the Lakeside Café for a delicious buffet or family menu with a panoramic view of the Lake.

  • White Rock Beach:

    • Beautiful ocean view with sandy beach.

    • Eat in one of many restraints lining along the beach, from casual to authentic type food.

    • Walk along the pier and watch people crab catching.

    • Bring a picnic lunch to eat on the grass, or picnic tables.

    • Go for a leisure stroll and shop in the unique stores for clothing, Souvenir, etc.

  • Whistler:

    • Located in the coast mountains of B.C

    • Is a beautiful village up in the mountains, with hotels, restaurants, and shops.

    • Summer Time: Activities include: walks, shopping, or going for a ride on the gondola.

    • Winter Time: Activities include: skiing on two mountains right in the village, Blackcomb and Whistler.

    • Lots of quaint little shops to browse around in.

  • Gastown:

    • Many little shops to get Canadian souvenirs.

    • Old part of Vancouver, that one can stroll down and choose to eat from a variety of restaurants.

    • See the old Steam Clock that sounds off at every quarter, half and on the hour.

  • Golden Ears:

    • Go Horseback riding in Maple Ridges' mountains. For the beginner to those more experienced.

  • Seattle Mariners:

    • See a Seattle Mariners baseball game during baseball season.

  • Special Events:

    • Go skiing up to various local mountain

  • July 1st each year - celebrate Canada's national holiday "Canada Day" with a spectacular fireworks show in the evening.
